Lemnos’ female costume is an important and yet unknown aspect of the local tradition of the island. Long-term research has been made on women’s clothing, but none of these have brought to light the Tradition the genuine and authentic costume of the Women of Lemnos.

The outfit consists of the following parts: 1) The headgear or headgear, 2) The ornaments of the neck, 3) The shirt, 4) The bracelet or the waistcoat, 5) The skirt, 6) The vest, ) Socks and 8) Shoes.
