The schematic female figurines with folded, or in obsecration posture raised hands are the most common types of Mycenaean devotional objects. They are considered to depict mainly deities. They are found in Mycenaean sanctuaries, tombs, houses even children’s tombs, that is the reason they are also considered to be children’s toys.
