Neolithic Young Man with a Beanie Hat
Neolithic figurine head found in Sofades of Karditsa by Mr. A.Bastis. It’s a beautiful Neolithic sample. Typical tilt head reminiscent corresponding Hellenistic period of Vergina depicting Alexander the Great. The beanie hat is decorated with a red line. Also there is a red line on the face that probably indicates beard. In the fertile region of Karditsa have been found over 50 Neolithic settlements, with data for housing and exercise agrarian and livestock activity since the seven millennium BC.
