Hygeia – Greek for “health” – was the ancient goddess and protector of the health of the body and soul. Sophia’s modern version of the goddess’ portrait is inspired by the 4th century BC original by sculptor Skopas. Serene and wearing an imperceptible smile, this hygeia is ready to live in a modern home promising good health to its inhabitants.
